Woodwill are Raising Money for the Mental Health Foundation and the NSPCC

At Woodwill Security Services, we are always looking for ways to support our wider community and make a positive contribution to society.

We take our corporate social responsibility very seriously, and are proactively fundraising for two chosen charities: the Mental Health Foundation (MHF) and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). Both do such important work, and it’s a privilege for us to be able to help them by raising funds and sharing their messages.

Supporting the Mental Health Foundation (MHF)

The MHF pioneer change through research and practical study. They are doing an incredible job of tackling often under-researched mental health issues, and prevention is at the heart of everything they do.

The MHF have three initiatives that they suggest to raise money and awareness:

Supporting the National Society for the Protection of cruelty to Children (NSPCC)

The NSPCC work to protect children, fighting for every childhood by preventing abuse and neglect. They’ve been committed to this mission for more than 100 years, and with good reason – they estimate that one in five children in the UK have suffered abuse or neglect. They also run Childline, a service that offers 24/7 support and counselling for children.

The work carried out by these two charities is even more vital in light of the coronavirus pandemic, which is changing the way we live and interact. It’s more important than ever to maintain good mental health and look after everyone in our society.

If you’d like to help us with our fundraising, or have any new ideas for ways to support our chosen charities, we’d love to hear from you.
