Construction sites are a common target for criminals due to having expensive equipment and materials on site. Unfortunately, most construction sites do not have adequate security protection in place and as a result a huge 92 percent of respondents to a survey conducted by the Chartered Institute of Building claim to have been affected by crime and a further 21 percent claim that their construction site is targeted by criminals on a weekly basis.
